he hasn't even gone yet they said they understand they are close to a deal.
It is, and again, it raises serious questions about the management set up.
Disappointing that Ash has gone, a true City legend and we're letting him go out like this. Pathetic.
He is reputed to be on ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã20k, which on current / remaining ability it's almost as much a steal as Bullard's. He is past it - but then again watch him score a swan song goal against us in a few weeks!
Current Management are building a new squad based on youthful better players than we had in August, whilst at the same time sorting out the wage bill, so I agree e18 - change the record TWF

.
BOLLOCKS.
for 9 years through 6 managers he walks out because our cheecky chappy aint playing for us anymore.I would say a high percentage of city fans aren't upset JB has gone, all we kept hearing was 45k aweek here and there about him.
Exactly, stupid moves all around, we've lost what should be our first choice midfield partnership to replace them with what? James Harper and a youngster who won't be here at the end of the season.
As you said, 9 years, 6 managers and now he wants to leave. That should tell you everything, I trust Ash's judgment more than I do Nigel Pearson who has proved, and contines to prove absolutely nothing.[/QUOTE
Do you not rate Rosenior,Mannonie, Chester, Fryatt, Stewart, Gerrard,Koren. All Pearson men.

"Gerrard would rather be at Cardiff and we won't be signing him permanently."
I get that impression as well I have to be honest.
To be fair TWf's comment on Gerrard is the only thing I've ever seen him say that is accurate, rather than trying to wind people up on the board. Yesterday he was making out we'd had only one good performance all season, and anything he say's about the Pearsons is utter tripe.
