Everybody always moans about the board sinking lower and we have more posters than ever.

We do differ, Norway, but the thing is we don't insult each other. I argue my point, take the trouble to explain it in detail then someone comes along and posts what can only be construed as a cretinous remark - probably indicative of his level of intelligence.
Quite obviously, the presentation of a cogent response is above and beyond his capabilities so, instead of keeping his trap shut, he resorts to personal insults. I suppose he regards it as being witty. It's not, it's pathetic!
Many a time I have felt like letting a poster have both barrels but have only lost it once with Dai. This is because I feel that every poster deserves respect and is entitled to an opinion. Believe me, should I feel inclined, I could take Stumpy apart piece by little piece on this board if he wants to indulge in a war of words. Truth is, I can't be bothered with his kind.
By the way, you seem to think that the number of posters make for a good board. We differ again because I happen to think that the quality of postings is a great deal more important. If I wanted to read comments like Stumpy's, there must be a kindergarten site somewhere where young kids are learning to swap insults and think it's clever.
Anyway, I'm guessing that I won't be getting an apology, so tomorrow I'll be off to pastures new leaving you with the erudite views of Stumpy and his ilk.
