Yes, but I listened to him in Spanish and he didn't apparently use any version of it. The interpreter was rubbish...bring back the other guy.

 

Maybe they're forcing MP to come out of his shell by giving him increasingly worse interpreters. He'll become so impatient with them he'll just start speaking English himself.

Haha, well I've just started watching the press conference and there's an amusing moment when he answers a question in English and the interpreter translates his answer into Spanish. Looks like my joke may not be too far from the mark

 

Loved that bit...made everyone laugh. That translator was terrible though...at one point he had to admit that he had said the exact opposite to what Mauriccio meant.

 

I'm sure there must be one somewhere that can translate properly and is good looking, Fran.

 

Interesting difference between Adkins and Poch. He was asked if he could use our previous game against Man City as a motivator...he replied you can't be motivated by a loss. Adkins believed in looking for positives in everything. Poch would also not be drawn on a captain...he said leaders just appear from the pack...he named SKD, Fonte, Rickie and Lallana as leaders in their own areas.

The press interview is comical, i don't think the interpreter ever gave the correct translation of an answer.
