Just when I thought Wolverhampton were Wolves in sheep's clothing , oh well , most would have taken an away point before the game. We do need that last October win though .
Swans have always been the same. Winning with 10 minutes to go, we switch off thinking it's dead and buried and we blow it. Not the first time, won't be the last. At least we have our first point away from home.
I just knew at least one of you guys would say this and I have been waiting for it............ You played nearly exactly the same last week but most of you said you were crap. This week Wolves were not at the races for 80 minutes and you looked miles ahead. The only difference last week was Norwich didn't let you have the same amount of time and space to play your football.
Didn't you want Swansea to win? I did. ****ing Wolves. Nasty club with nasty fans and a history of nasty players. I have never met a Wolves fan who was not an arrogant cock. Most of the Swans fans here seem decent lads (and lasses?)
Rodgers threw the points away today, and no one will convince me of anything different, it's about time that Rodgers wised up to the consequences of taking our most influential players off, both Dyer and Britton should never have been taken off, and due to this Rodgers has cost us the game, poor management from him, and I'm gutted for our boys!..................... please log in to view this image
That's to Norwich's credit, but we looked good today. I didn't see the Norwich game in full, so can't compare, but I said pre-game that McCarthy needed to mimic your tactics, and he didn't, and we went 2-0 up. As soon as they were closing us down at the back with a bit of urgency we were shaky, but for 70 minutes we were in complete control.
There's the difference I think. Norwich closed Swansea down like that for 75-85 minutes last week. It also help that we got 2 early goals. Kind of killed of Swansea's belief from the start.
Quite....if teams allow Swansea time and space you will pass them to death, as you did last season but you need to find a little more up front to punish teams when the chances come along. I still think you guys will do well enough to stay up. I certainly hope so because watching the Swans when they do have the time is good
