Never mind, 6 points from 9 away from home isn't too bad.

Well it's not, because Lovren's not in it. And why the **** didn't he start? Pochettino said he was ready.

'Ready to play a part' and 'ready to start' aren't always the same thing. Our games really aren't terribly meaningful...we were never going to catch Man U, so it's a battle for 8th and 9th (possibly 10th if things go horribly wrong). No reason to throw him straight back in against a physical side.

Amazing when Poch picks Wanyama to start everyone goes barmy because he's rusty, yet barrack Poch for not starting Dejan after a serious injury....

I'd be tempted to play Ramirez from the start in the following games, were much more creative with him in the side.

I echo this.

Can't help but think we should give this team a go regardless of others players form:

Boruc
Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw
Schneiderlin, Wanyama
Ramirez
Lallana, Rodriguez
Lambert

Cork and Davis have been brilliant. We need that creative spark in the centre of the pitch, and at the moment we're to defensive.

Maybe not against Liverpool, but against Palace or Norwich? Sure. We need to make a decision on him in the summer, and that means starting him a few times to see whether this energy in sub appearances can translate to something meaningful in a full game.
