I think we might get a sneaky win. I think not losing on Saturday was important.

1-3 Two for Big Joe and one from Wilson

Wilson was **** the other day but I firmly believe that Wilson max and Joelinton are a handful for any side bar maybe the elite clubs that can control the entire match.

Arsenal are not quite there yet, but I think they'll pick us off more successfully than Brentford did.

Liverpool forced them into lots of errors by pressing high up the pitch on Sat - appreciate we aren't anywhere near the scousers level, but be good to get the pressure on early and force some mistakes

It's a free hit.. At least they'll go there and have a go.

Bruce never ever had a go.. It was all about Bruce the fans enjoying it was irrelevant

As said above, this is pressure free, a free hit. We have a bunch of fixtures that are already marked as "nul points" on the calendar, this is one of them regardless of Arsenal's lower position.

So go there, and have a go. Get an actual goalkeeper in nets for starters.

Not sure how we'll line up - and I'm hoping Arteta is equally in the dark. I doubt it'll be 3-4-3, I think that was a gung ho approach for a home game we should be winning. But I think we'll play to strengths and be a bit tighter so expect us to line up 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 for this one. No idea who he'll go with at the back - from distance, I'd say Manq - Schar - Fede - Lewis was our strongest, but I'll trust the coaches.

Midfield I'd go with Hayden behind Shelvey and Willock in a 433, or Hayden and Shelvey behind Almiron in a 4231. Front line picks itself.

I agree and certainly I expect Dubs in goal.

It's unfortunate the game vs Norwich comes only 3 days later.

Do we play the same side or rotate?

Mostly the same, I think. We've had no cup games, no Europe, lots of breaks. They should be able to play twice in succession. A few of the lads are naturally fit anyway. I'd expect us to go back to 3-4-3 against Norwich, unless we get some success with a more balanced formation vs Arsenal.

I suppose we've just got to go with it, but if max gets an injury in a loss on Saturday you'd be thinking ffs we should've focused everything on Norwich and Burnley

We’re going to get thumped. All I care about is making sure we don’t have any injuries to key players before the Norwich game.

I’d be glad to be, but I don’t believe in miracles.

If Brentford can put three past us with another disallowed then the Arsenal will open us up like a tin opener.

4-1 Arsenal. But more entertaining than the 3-0 defeat under Bruce. I’ll take it, as long as we pick up points where it matters.

Another week with Howe. International players back. Dubz in goal. Win. All. Day. Long.

I think we’ll spank then. Frank is a way better manager than Arteta, as is Howe. Arsenal are ok, but not great, and if our front three have decent games we could Liverpool them

Have faith, Howay the lads.
