It helps. But there’s so much more to it. What defines a good player? Where did Brentford find theirs? They’re like any human being, leaders make you better. This lot aren’t being led. We’re hoping they turn up and get lucky every week, this Newcastle has no control over their own destiny.

There is a Miriad of things to consider isn’t there.
Good players.
Leaders.
Energy.
Solid.
Tactically aware.
Clever.
Natural.
But the one thing that for me we lack is players with individual character and responsibility. They just pass on the book.
So many of this squad just run around “trying to look busy” but are actually doing nothing.
They don’t seem to have any self motivation.
Nah football is just over complicated and mostly bullshit.
Better players lead by example.
We've got leaders.. ritchie is an example.. Wilson is a leader... Dubs is a leader The requirement these days is to not be so **** that you require being lead

The shoulder to shoulder on Wilson was ok for me. If Wilson had done it to him (why didn’t he btw) he would have scored. And it would have counted.
