Shocking doesn’t sum it up…..the midfield is the root of all our problems…..no pace, no bite, no ability. Shelvey would’ve been a top player 30yrs ago but he just doesn’t have the legs for todays game….Willock is a confidence player, it’s no wonder Arsenal let him go, doesn’t have the mentality to be a top player. Hayden and Longstaff not worth talking about…..we desperately need two or three central mids, an enforcer and two box to box players with ability
We're tripping if we think 5 signings will fix this in Jan like. We need as a minimum a new LWB, RWB, 2X CB, DCM, CM, RW, ATT

Willock clearly hasn’t the mentality needed at the top hence Arsenal sold him for a relatively small price in comparison to what young English players are normally worth. I think he’s a confidence player, great when the team is winning and shrinks when things get tough.
