I do like Giroud, I should say, have said many times that his goal ratio is better than most non Arsenal fans realise.
I would take him as a back up striker at Chelsea any day.
Problem is he is not world class and wastes too many chances, far too inconsistent.
and Welbeck, he works hard, but just is not clinical in front of goal.....you have lots of players like that, what you needed was someone who bangs em in....instead you bought Welbeck, especially when Giroud (the only one of your strikers who does occassionally put them away) was injured at the time.

How did they score if you were in control? <laugh> So you controlled them to score against you?
You need a new controller.

I know they scored against the run of play, but they scored in the 30th something minute, then you more or less capitulated.
How is playing ok for 30 minutes, then completely collapsing controlling the game?

Huh? You do know teams can be in full control of a match, and the opposition can still score right? That is a pretty dumb argument on your part.

I missed the match, seems like it's fortunate I did. Another pitiful performance l. I wish I could say I was shocked but that's why I was cautious about jumping the gun. Anyone can be beaten on their day.

I have nothing left to say about Wenger that hasn't already been said. Just pathetic.

A wise man said "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

@afcftw - I disagree with pretty much everything you have said on this thread, but I am tired and pissed off, so I can't be bothered to address your points. Sleep well people.

No i dont know that.
If they scored, you weren't in control <doh>
winning 5-0 is controlling a game

Midfield didn't show up today and got overran. FBs made the same silly errors of both pushing up at the same time leaving us prone for the counter. Per...the less said the better. Ozil was poor. Sanchez was poor as was Giroud. We had the ****ing chances too.
That's the one glimmer of hope is that we had the chances but were let down by poor finishing or just bad luck. We play at our best in France we CAN overturn this. The question is will we?

Controlling the ball and controlling the game is two different things. We were controlling the ball, they were in control of the game.

Were you Sunderland in disguise, players strolling about not really interested, no team work, no urgency and useless defending...I recognised a lot of us in your performance last night!

I wouldn't go that far, it's worth checking the batteries first.
