Architects of our own downfall tonight. Completely folded, terrible performance.

So that's 5 years straight that we've been knocked out of the UCL in the round of 16, nice new stat for Wenger, at least he is consistent.

My Ratings:

Ospina: 1 (at least he didn't throw the ball into his own net)

Bellerin: 5
Merts: 3
Kosc: 5
Gibbs: 6

Coq: 4
Santi: 7 (Best player for us)
Ozil: 2

Welshit: 0 (what benefit is he? Only good thing about him is, he is better than Balotelli)
Giroud: 2
Sanchez: 3 (tried hard though)

At 2-1 I thought "great we could still go through with a good away performance" and "well done oxo, where did that come from" to 3-1 down and "ffs that's us out, we will never get 3 away goals" and "oxo ffs what are you doing you naive idiot" in the space of a couple of minutes.

So un composed. Stupid to let them score like that.

Ospina needs to be dropped, he hasn't been good enough when tested.

Our best chance at progressing in the competition for years and we throw it away with a ****ty home performance once again. I bet we go and beat them 2-0 away now just to rub it in...

Maybe now some people on here will also realise the likes of Welbeck ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ARSENAL.

****s sake, people on here been singing his praises and eating out of his ass, then are surprised we get results like these. He is not what we need. And sorry, Bellerin is not ready either, you're always asking for trouble with players like these, and in Bellerin's case I'm not blaming him, but you just need experience in these games.

As **** as we were tonight, Giroud could have had a Hat-trick and Welbeck could have scored too. I know it makes **** all difference now and we invited all of the goals that we conceded, but it could have been a different story.

I just can't understand how anyone can still support Wenger. People pointed to lack of finances, but the last two years have proven that our problems are beyond finances. How many more embarrassments is it going to take before people realise we aren't going anywhere with Wenger in charge?

Very poor from us and the scoreline justifies it. We haven't been playing well enough all season to suggest we'll get anything from the return leg.

In hindsight I'm surprised why we went into this game as favourites when we've not be that great all season.
