Did you watch MOTD2 at the weekend?
It showed exactly why Lukaku doesnt get as many goals against the top teams as he should.

He is being let down for service.
There was 2 or 3 times against us, especially in the first half, when he made awesome runs that would have put him in on goal, but the passes in to him from Midfield were wayward, or non existent. Davies, I think it was, took a speculative shot from 25 yards instead of playing the through ball for Lukaku.

The people we are interested in are top draw like Andrea Beloit who has scored 30 goals in Italy this season. For me Lukaku doesn't hold the line anywhere near as good as Costa. I think Conte wants to change the style of play we adopt at present.

Yep, I saw that, and it obviously doesn't help either him or his club. I was speculating as his overall scoring record against the top 6 is not good

I get the impression he's not Mr Popular with the other players.
 
Liverpool are ready to compete with Manchester United to sign Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas should the 29-year-old decide to leave Stamford Bridge this summer. (Daily Star)

Did Fab use to be the captain of Arsenal?

He seems like such a small part of the City set-up! It's hard to believe that he used to be Arsenal's main player.

I think that is a real measure of just how far they have fallen.

I think he would suit Liverpool, would free up Henderson to do the dogs work, which i think he does well.

What Wenger meant to say was, "It is still mathematically possible for me to get 4th and to be able to dupe our sucker fans into believing that I haven't already signed a two year extension to my contract!"

Mathematically they do have a chance as you have of finishing third again. Lets wait until the fat lady sings before you start your Jizz fest. <ok>

Hardly as you seem to have that covered, whether spuds or City finish 2nd or Mars for that matter is inconsequential Tiny. No one remembers the runners up only the winners so Im sorry I can't help you.

How about L'pool? They've been 'underachieving' for most of the last decade. 7 out of the last 8 seasons, we've finished ahead of them.

Fact is, we've crashed the so called 'big boys' little private party and some of them don't like it!....
