Afternoon chaps.

Since the new season is looming, I just popped in to find out if you want me to continue with the predictions?

The format will be exactly the same as before, unless you have any suggestions to make it a wee bit more interesting?

Please remember though, this is already quite a time consuming exercise to ensure the results are produced on a Monday morning, so please – simple suggestions only.

I await your comments.
 
I for one enjoyed it but can we have a league table that continues on every week
Somewhere there is a link to a predictor game maybe you could use that and set up a league on there
Just a thought thanks for all your work and effort

I thought of a secret handicap sytem based on age, which would have ensured you and I are always near the top, but somehow I think some of the bright young'uns may have tumbled my plan!!

Unfortunately, a league table restricts participation to those taking part at the very beginning and discourages 'occasional' punters from taking part, which adds to the fun. If someone can come up with a system that overcomes those two issues, it could be adopted.

There's a challenge to the 'techies' amongst us!!
 
Yes from me too - when I remember or get chance I love completing the predictions then finding out just how badly I've done!!!
 
Argus - love the format and the patter that goes with it. Please don't change a thing!

I much prefer this being on our board as when you check the results, most people a known to you - it adds value imho.
 
Keep it going Argus, it's important.

If a league was to be established you'd have to get people to register for the league before it starts. These would be flagged on the results spreadsheet. Anybody can enter each week, but unless they've pre-registered. they won't be in the league. Once all entries are recorded on the ordinary spreadsheet, only those in the league will be transferred to the league spreadsheet.

Sounds more complicated than it is, but probably isn't worth doing.
