  • still go because they have no problem with The Allams , like that Fergus clown on Twitter

I
Other clubs sell that many. A club from that little town of Huddersfield being amongst them. In fact we sold out inn a couple of days once. Is there any connection between having owners that treat the fans with contempt and unsold tickets perhaps?
I'd stake my house on the fact wed not sell over 38,000 again.
**** loads went as a one off and didn't go again

So what are the other reasons we have more problems than clubs from smaller towns selling tickets for Wembley?
Novelty wore off for quite a few.
We don't have the fan base to pick up the slack like other clubs.
If we got there this season I wouldn't bother

We don't have the fan base of Huddersfield? Wasn't long ago people were saying an expansion of the stadium was a must.
If the novelty wore off after a handful of Wembley appearances itisca goid job we haven't got here as regularly as some clubs.
I think the truth is we never have had the support base some though we had. An odd few ganes years ago attracted 40,000+ and some seemed to think we could do that all the time we ever had some success. Support in Hull tends to be fickle and at City has gone up and down even game by game at a huge rate. People in Hull tend to latch onto anything doing well, even if itis only a novelty. For a time back in the 1970s the speedway was getting more than City, FC and Rovers combined.

Cant disagree there.

Eh? It clearly IS the problem. As has already been stated - we can easily fill our allocation and have done so previously. So what has changed? We now have **** owners who continue to drive fans away.
We would not sell 38,000 even with the Allams gone.
That's a hell of an amount to shift.

Regardless who owns Hull City, i have been going since 1972 and i aint gonna stop now. I fully appreciate and understand the views of those who are boycotting the club as i had similiar thoughts a couple of seasons ago but life is too short to be bitter and angry, i know and you know that one day the Allams will be a distant memory and we will still be making the pilgrimage to the KC Stadium to roar our team on.

My sentiments exactly Miff, God knows how long these ****ers are going to stay at the club, but for all their talk of "I will go in 24 hrs bollocks" they could be here for another 5 years. I, like you, are not going to stop what I love doing because of these twats.

Same here, the tossers will need more than a padlock to keep me out , one day they will be gone and we will still be here supporting HULL CITY AFC.

As has been said before - We HAVE sold out the full Wembley allocation before. We certainly wouldn't do that now I agree - buy that is entirely down to the damage done by the Allams. Thousands have turned their back on the club and sadly many may never come back. Meanwhile countless potential new younger fans are unable to attend due to the lack of concessions for younger people. It may take several years to rebuild the club and the fan base after the Allams finally go - but the potential is certainly still there - given just a modest degree of success AND even more importantly a reasonable ownership who respected and appreciated their fans rather than going out of their way to insult, upset and drive them away.

Been a pretty consistent flow to the poll of for every 2 still going , 1 isn't , if you take that as a decent guide across the whole outside the not606 world , it turns an 18k crowd into 12k .... Saturday will be interesting
That's what I was trying to determine. I realise that we aren't properly representative of the whole supporter base but at least it gives some sort of idea of what percentage of our support that these two despicable ****s have lost, temporarily or otherwise.

There is not a relationship between population and ticket sold by the local football team. None whatsoever.

There is in respect of a club in a small town whose chairman doesn't treat the fans with total contempt tending to sell more tickets than a club from a larger city whose chairman does.

Seems those guards at. Hull is not a football city are correct. Numerous smaller places have larger stadiums and larger crowds. Perhaps .Hull is a rugby town after all...

The very first home game after they've gone will be a sell out, whichever division we're in.
