Just had a glance at the upcoming fixtures.

What is it with the owners and new coach´s first games?

Didn´t QSF get Citeeeeh as his first game back?

Now Pearson has liverpool away and man u at home as his first two games!!

You are so pessimistic Mex, see this as an opportunity to keep the number of goals Liverpool score to under 5!

Arsenal was first up for SF.

Gracia had Chelsea first too !

That was unfortunate in a way - good performance against Arsenal and comeback but we then hit the Man City storm!

The lack of scoring against Brighton, Bournemouth, Sheffield United, Burnley or Palace at home will really kill us.

I mean you would have been very disappointed to not score in just one of those games - alone all of them!

Plus the odd VAR decision of course.

Very true one goal per game in the last four would have given us 8 points plus the 6 points VAR robbed us of would have us on 23 points and challenging for Europe next season

It doesn't mater where we are or the results of the ones above us in the next few games
Our target is 40+ points and if we hit that we are in with a chance of survival
There are no easy home games or hard ones, only games we have to go all out for a win, who thought we would get 7 points from the last three games
I was honestly looking for 9 points, but my glass is never half empty because I always keep it topped up

Every team in the EPL goes out to win BUT we will set up diffently for home to Villa than Man C or Liverpool .Only once has a team gone down with 40+ points and that was West Ham

I was genuine when I told my recently departed father-in-law at the beginning of December, that I could see us pointless from this month. Villa were 14th and firing, Palace were 6th, Sheff Utd were awesome against us at the Vic and had kept their form through Autumn. Man Utd were occasionally misfiring, so I said that in some respects our easiest December fixture was Man Utd!
The fact we have done so well is a great reflection, IMHO, mainly on Deeney, but also Pearson. The rest of the squad have also lifted their game slightly (they weren’t playing horribly, after all, and there had been a lot of effort displayed, just without finishing finesse).

IMHO the improvement is a lot to do with Sarr Before NP he was used out of postion now teams are having to deal with pace coming from both our wings plus Troy .It would be nice if we could keep getting 7 points every 4 games but that will not happen all the way to the end of the season , So we need to keep this current run going and get 6 points every 4 games then that will add to the pressure other and hope they slip up and then Pedro might come good feb/march
