Last night I posted a comment on the London's Burning thread accusing asylum seekers of being involved in the riots.

I now see the folly of such a prejudged statement & apologise wholeheartedly forthwith.

I am not, never have been or never will be a racist.

Thanks for listening.

I get a little sick of hearing from community leaders/youth workers and the like about unemployment, poverty and so on, yes they are all problems but lets talk about all of that after the yobs are sorted.

Police officers are scared to get physical in case they end up inside.

Cameron should be on TV saying tonight keep your kids at home and stay at home because any bother will be met with water cannon, rubber bullits and whatever else is needed to stop this. If you or your kids are there they could be rounded up.

By the way Billy, no need to apologise. Every type of "person" would have been involved in those riots - black, white, yellow, brown.

Its the common ground of greed that united them.

Well they will have to ship them over, but i think the main problem is its all spread out in pockets. (not concentrated in 1 area)

On the news earlier they said the police had drafted in more bodies from 11 constabularies outside of london, and there were 1,700 police on the ground, i was like eh!!, if it was a mob of 300-1000 in 1 place fair enough, they could handle the situation, but not when its springing up all over the place, miles apart. by the time they get there, the rioters have already buggered off somewhere else.

And that would be the problem with water cannons as well, yes they may get 2-3 pockets of it, but getting 10-20 like there has been, will be virtually impossible.

I have a feeling this is going to get a lot worse before it gets better, and its going to spread like wildfire, hope i am wrong on that though. (but its already happening)

well they definately said 1,700 on the BBC last night, mind you this was about 3am and i was 1/2 asleep and was knee deep in a PHP book so i may have misheard lol

but coppers have to sleep as well, cant see the point of putting 13,000 on the street today in the daylight if there is no riots, only for the vast majority of them to go home when it all kicks off later on tonight.

You are right perfectly right, order must be restored and quickly.Like billy if offended anyone im sorry watching all these scenes is sickening.

I came in from night shift this morning & watched Teresa May, our own home secretary hopelessly out of her depth on two different news channels.

That woman has not got a ****ing clue how to deal with this.

I have. SAS.

Order would be restored within hours although there may be a few body bags to pick up.

I do as well, the joke I posted was ill timed & uncalled for so I really apologise for that, I just hope that it gets sorted quickly. The thing that angers me most is the sight on TV of people having to leave their homes as they feards for their safety, the child was crying, she was scared of what was happening
