Funny how Police numbers where going to be cut do you think they will be now! Yeah lets introduce more Draconian Laws, lets Hang them and whip them and Hang them again. For **** Sake you bring in water cannon and rubber bullets now to deal with this what next live rounds. With this kind of argument what would have happened during the miners strike, or the poll tax demos anti war demos. You just give the goverment more means to oppress and keep us down.

Nae offence taken, I don't condone the violence at all and feel sorry for all those effected by the rioting. All I'm saying is that giving the police more draconian powers and weapons effects all of us in the long run and doesn't stop or solve the riots. Look at Northen Ireland they've been using rubber bullets and water cannon there for years and rioting still breaks out so doesn't solve a ****ing thing same thing in France.
