1: Name?
Tony Warnersface
2: Age?
20
3: Location?
Hull/Sheffield.
4: Work?
Student.
5: Hull City supporter since?
2000/01 somewhere round there, first game was in 1997.
6: First of all! What do you think about this season so far? Better or worse than expected?
Worse/better. That make no sense? I'll explain... Start of the season I thought "eh up, might do alright here", then we didn't and I began to think "eh up, might go down here", but now we're distinctly midtable. I thought we should do better than this, but thought we would do worse.
7: Are you satisfied with Nigel Pearson?
God no. I have never ever been so bored as this season, and this season is the first in a while where I've thought "why the **** do I pay to see this every week" and "Is it really possible to cross the Channel on a lilo" The second I asked myself during a game because I was that bored that my mind wandered to a story my mate told me in Yr 10 history about two immigrants sneaking into the country on lilos, I took it as fact for a while but then began to question it. The contrast between him and, err, good managers (Phil "God" Brown) is startling, the fact he's admitted he doesn't want to be here doesn't really help either. Here's a list of things that I'm more satisifed with:
The rise in VAT
The fact it costs over ã16 to come back to Hull with a railcard, whereas it costs half that to go the same length in the other direction.
The fact there's some flap on my roof that makes a noise from the slightest bit of wind.
The fact crabsticks don't contain crab.
The current economic climate.
The fact I have to pay ã650 to not go to university for a year, and of course...
Hugh Jackman.
8: Do you think we will make the playoffs?
No, I don't think we're good enough, our results flatter us and we just don't have the quality. If by some miracle we did get there, we'd go 1-0 down within seconds and then just defend for two legs.
9: Who has been our best/worst player according to you this season?
Our best player has probably been Gerrard or somebody, nobody's really stood out at all. Our worst has obviously been James Harper.
10: Which signing are you most satisfied with?
Liam Rosenior's a good quality player, and one of the few in our squad that would be good enough to play in the Premiership.
11: Who is your favourite player in Hull?
It's a tough one because I don't recognise may of them, I'll go with Dawson because he's underrated, he should be regarded as a legend.
12: Who is your favourite (no longer active) Hull City-player?
Stuart Green, weird I know, but I'm often a fan of centre midfielders who can pass and score goals. Unlike our current management.
13: Which teams do you dislike the most?
Liverpool, ****ing hell, I despise every single one of their fans, the season without Europe can't come quick enough. Scum. Subhuman scum.
14: When were you at the KC last time?
The last match against Norwich.
15: Favourite Hull City match you have seen live?
Seen live eh? I'd have to say beating Swansea 1-0 at home when the queues were right round the Stadium. Felt like we were finally going somewhere.
16: Are you surprised to hear about Hull City having supporters in Scandinavia?
Yes, but a mild form of surprised, like "Did you know the Blackpool tower changes height in the summer?" you never think about it, but when you do it kinda makes sense. Metal expands you see.
17: Do you have any Hull City-tattoos?
No I still have my future.
18: Favourite music?
Arctic Monkeys are my fave band, stuff like that.
19: Favourite movies?
Napoleon Dynamite.
20: Favourite books?
Not the Da Vinci Code.
21: Favourite food?
Patty and chips, the one thing I miss about Hull.
22: Favourite beverage?
Alcoholic - Desperados.
Non-alcoholic - Diet Coke. Not because it's healthy, it just tastes better.
23: Other interests besides following Hull City?
Origami.
24: When will Hull City play in Premier League again?
Depends when the Pearsons leave. If they stay it'll be a long time coming.
