They want an English manager and Harry Redknapp is the best. Don't let one good season for Pardew fool you otherwise even if newcastle finish above spurs which i think they will now

Just pressure and poor management. He didn't rotate his squad very well, they're out on their feet now. It also meant they lost players in Jan. Whereas his dealings in the summer were great, his work in Jan was poor. Swapping Saha for Pavluchenko, Krasic loan falling through but still allowing Pienaar to go out, not using Corluka so he wanted the loan, and letting a few youngsters out on loan. Then you have ourselves buying well with Cisse, Benni coming back to himself and hitting a purple patch of form/team realising potential. Our form just magnifies their own and makes it seem a whole lot worse.

Yep, they've blown it. I'm still not sure the FA will give him the England job because of the tax court case. Yes he was found innocent , but mud sticks and the old boys at Lancaster Gate will want somebody without baggage.

Think about this , every club 'arry has walked away from has been in financial trouble shortly afterwards. Soton , Pompey , Hammers .......... Spuds ?

I would think he has a few more skeletons in the closest. The FA are well aware that he won't the London's media darling for long if England aren't winning. All the sordid unknown will be then brought to the fore, with everyone condemning the FA and forgetting their clamour for his appointment. Is he even the right guy too? I could see an old boys reunion. You think he wouldn't be taking his nephew and the likes of Terry, Ferdinand, Defoe etc? Not being funny but you can't wave a chequebook at problems as England manager. I can't see this fantastic managerial record everyone is sure of. He has bought his way around bar when he inherited a load of quality youngsters at West Ham. International management requires more tactical nous, particularly when you are weaker than a fair few of the opposition (we are despite the continual head burying in this country)

Personally I think we've got more chance of turning over Man C and Chelsea. The league may well be done by the time City come, either way we're gonna be tough to beat at home. Chelsea I'd normally think zero but they are in the midst of a squad crippling run of games and our game comes 3 days before the cup final which is their only realistic hope of a trophy in my book. Barca will have killed them off is the likely scenario. Even if they got through Barca it'll be either Bayern at home in the final or spanish league winners Real on a high.

Wigan is a big worry for us. In great form and in desperate need of points to keep the wolves from the door. I think we might find it tricky and will need to keep it tight. Everton regardless of timing and whether its a dead game in terms of the table, are excellent at home.

All it would take for us to get fourth though is for that loss against Chelsea to be turned into a draw.

The City game is at home and we could well be on a 7 game winning streak going into it!

We'll still probably just miss out though but what an effort anyway.

City come after Chelsea so it would an 8 game streak if still winning. Obtainable but unlikely in this league.

Who thought you would win 6!

Your the only team in that bunch that hasn't had Euro football this season, I put your freshness down to this, and it worries me.

I'll be sick as **** if it's Champions League, Europa I can handle, as I think it wouldn't attract better players, and money, than you have.

CL is a club changing achievement.
