I've had an extra spring in my step all day, even funnier sensing their panic as they try to get a new striker in for the Watford game.

Luckily for them Watford are so ****e they don't need a forward.

Mind, they could always get the game called off for a couple of players with earache.

Watford have signed 3 players in this window so far, 2 defenders and a midfielder so who knows they might improve.

I think the mags may well win but they are still a long way from safety, no doubt they will get carried away again and start doing a lap of honour followed by dressing room team photos.

I take less and less notice of them up the road…although I did have a laugh at the weekend and when I saw what the match day thread was called. That was always going to bite them in the arse :emoticon-0100-smile

Used to have a chat with some mag fans at work about football but it’s just unbearable. Always the same “everyone is against us” or “who wouldn’t want to sign for the richest club in the world” rubbish. I really can’t be arsed with it anymore!

The annoying thing is that the mags will stay up by virtue of there being 3 worse teams than them. Norwich are gone, Watford will follow unless they sack Ranieri and pull of some sort of miracle and it looks like this is finally Burnley's year. Mags will sign a couple of strikers to scrape clear and we'll never hear the end of it #EddiesMiracle :emoticon-0119-puke:

Aye VAR was deliberately told to allow the Cambridge goal that was "clearly offside" but it doesn't matter because they are "concentrating on the league" etc

Was told yesterday (by a good mate, but another of these mags who never goes to games) that Staveley "clearly knows what she is doing" and how the Saudi bloke "has come here (?) to win things" etc etc :emoticon-0113-sleep:emoticon-0113-sleep:emoticon-0113-sleep

To be fair mate, people said all that the last two times Newcastle were relegated.

When Benitez arrived they were better placed, with a better squad and a better manager.

This current set up stinks when players are talking in the press, others turning them down and Staveley going into the dressing room behind Howe's back. Even if he allowed them to go in it's showing weakness and desperation.

If Watford scrape a result, at the fortress, they'll be calling for Howe's head <laugh>

I think when Everton eventually pull the plug on the FSW that will test the resolve of the Mugs who are trying to convince everyone (including themselves) that Eddie is the perfect man for the job etc

It's so funny watching them sway like palm trees in a Saudi wind.

They swayed towards Benitez when Bruce was sacked then Howe when no-one else would go. They declared Howe a genius and turned against 'boring money-grabber Benitez, but if Everton sack him they'll be calling for the Messiah again. They can dig all of their Rafa flags and proclaim him 'one of their own' again.

In reality Howe is clearly struggling and has made no difference to the club,

They're in a real mess and Staveley doesn't have a clue what to do next.

Agree with all of that. I find it amazing that these people had the purchase of the club on their agenda for 2 or 3 years but had no-one lined up to run the club? No CEO, no DoF, no manager.... I'd love to have seen Staveley do negotiations with agents. They'll end up signing Rodwell on £250k per week :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Oh how I’d love to see that happen!
