welcome lads, I'm gonna try to keep advertising the site and hopefully get enough people on so that it's not so dead.
 
I'm going where the 606 crowd goes, whether that's here or wherever. Taking a look at Vital Football next but bollocks to Facebook, hate the site!

Lets see how many get over here, this could be a good alternative. Can we comment on BBC Humberside without getting pulled, or God forbid call Sven a pervert (Yes I got a post pulled for that).

I've a feeling that they will have a more adventurous approach to use of the English language here than 606 and it's trigger happy mods, would much rather say crap than carp, and so on. Just had a look on Vital football and it seems pretty dead over there.

There's no moderation whatsoever at present. This is the busiest the team boards have been since I joined, and it's great to see! All of the old posters usually do their thing on the general discussion board, but hopefully that'll change if the team boards get busy! If there are any real problems that you're not happy with, MalteseMick is the main guy and he'll sort it out, just drop him a personal message.

Have been a long time lurker on the 606, never really bothered signing up and posting due to the hassle with moderation and all that, felt this was a good chance to join in!
 
Let's hope LoyalTigerBrian finds his way here. I'll keep check with this forum for a week or so to see if it picks up.

Well, there seems to be plenty of us signed up now... Will keep checking back, see if we can successfully transplant the City 606 team over here...

seems a lot more user friendly than the beeb site actually. And Even better... I can bring my avatar.
