I'd like to give Swords credit for apologising - the only thing you need to consider is this though mate - some people don't put a price on morals. You imply that it would be less acceptable for a man on the breadline to be treated the same way but perhaps AF doesn't quite think that 30K a week is enough to turn a blind eye to the judgment of him based on skin colour and I for one think he's a better person for it.
Incidentally, I don't actually think that John Terry is BNP supporting, St George's flag waving racist (he seems to get on with his team mates irrespective of ethnicity) but as the eloquent Telfold put it - if he can say that just because it spurts out under the heat of the moment then there is something inherently there and he should take a long look at himself, hold his hands up and take whatever punishment is heading his way.
That said, I still think he's a cheating, neanderthal, immoral ****.

Uggh!!! I came back here to carry on where we left off last night, find it's all sorted and now I'm leaving with that image.
my difficulty with this is that i would sell my very soul to the devil in a Faustain pact and abandon all my principles and ethics for the chance to stay up and get revenge on all the cheating divers and dodgy refs who have mugged us off this year..
I'm bitter because he gets paid more than I do.
Seriously though, aside from him being a mercenary with physical skills far in excess of his mental skills, I have nothing against Anton. I guess I'm taking out my irritations with Rio being a mouthy g*t on Anton, unfairly. I think I'll go and have a lie down...
