I'm not saying he's great now, I wouldn't have him in my City team, but he can't be as **** as everyone is beratingly stating when he has an England cap.

I don't get it. Reading aren't willing to make us a suitable offer for McShane presumably due to wages, but they're going to sign Gardner and another centreback. Surely their combined wages will only be the same as McShane's would be, and McShane would only occupy one spot in their 25 man squad.
 
He's good when he wants to be. No pace at all, but a very good head on his shoulders and has the backline organized at all times!!

However, spends most the time in the injury room, so good luck with that! Better asking the Crystal Palace fans as they saw him more recently!

Also it looks like they might miss out on him so maybe they'll reconsider McShane

Reminds me of Hull City giving Turner away and bringing in Sonko. Oh well good news for City as Reading wont be the
same force as last season. Sean Long is due to be sold soon as well.
