So, As usual, this will go down in flames, the Allam's are ****s, yes we know most think that, but they have pretty much undone anything negative they have done, Using the name correctly, letting the fans pick the crest, changing the pricing structure back to before they changed it etc etc, I fully understand there is still things to sort out, but it does look like the effort is there! I just hope that if there is a big attendance for the west brom game, and a fair few kids there, and the Allam's have decided they will return, THAT IS A HUGE step, I hope that the anti allam protesters just give it a miss this game, get behind the team and dont bother with the Allam out chants and ruin it for those that have returned and possibly a new generation of fans.

They know they are wanted out of the club, They have attempted to build bridges, I just dont want the effort they have made to be ruined with constant Allam out chants and for them to go.."Sod it"
I'll be still chanting Allam out, in fact a little louder as they are apparently attending against West Brom.

I hope lots of others do too.

We obviously hope for different things...such is life.

He said to contact Ann and by doing so it resolved it, isn't that the point? To resolve things?

I'm assuming you can't see Kate Ogram's tweets. She's been chasing the club, every year since 2012, offering to meet with club representatives and Level Playing Field to resolve the issue of disabled concessions and she's got nowhere. Just telling her to do it again was not helpful.

Nope

he'd been doing that for a long time

never got a response until the twitter spat apparently

Well good thing he reached out to a representative who was able to help shine a light on it. Isn't that the point of a representative?

At the end of the day it's now been resolved isn't that the point?

Ok yes clearly I'm missing something then. So it's still not resolved? That's pretty crap then, hopefully it can be raised by the representative at the next meeting.

But yes the representatives in general don't seem fantastic. One of them is blocked by Grosicki for abusing him on deadline day.

no it isn't the point

the representative didn't do anything to help

the fact that the other person made the fact they'd had no response more widely known obviously might have kicked the club into action, but the rep simply saying 'email the club' isn't 'shining a light' on anything at all

Ok so I'm still confused. Is it resolved or not? OLM made it sound like it isn't resolved in which case poor from the rep. If it is resolved then it seems odd to be getting upset.

You realise these people aren't paid and it isn't their full time job yes?

According the the tweet from the guy that raised it and was the subject of the exchange posted, his specific issue is now resolved to his satisfaction.

If you can see the full conversion, you can see that his responses were poor and though Paul may now be happy with his resolution, Kate certainly isn't.

I was simply answering the question that was asked.

Given my previous comments on communication skills from some quarters, I thought it would simply drag it down further if I commented on it.

I've known Paul for a long time, a nicer bloke and more loyal fan (sorry Castro) you couldn't meet. If he was unhappy with something then the club have definitely handled it badly. I'm astonished disabled concessions haven't been reintroduced along with a helper ticket? Or is that now changing? I think it was laughable when the club originally said that the helper ticket was being abused. Anyway, hopefully it's heading in the right direction now.

You don’t have to be sorry. It is quite possible that someone, somewhere is a nicer bloke.<laugh>
I knew someone who was a pass holder, came from Wakefield to nearly every game, who had a helper ticket. The reason he had a helper was that he was a registered alcoholic. Well known fan amongst the older lads. Passed away 3 or 4 years ago.

Regarding communications, about 4 or 5 years ago I wanted help with something. Was told to contact Ann Holland. I did so, after leaving messages and her not getting back to me, she didn’t seem particularly interested but said she couldn’t do anything until the end of the season and would get back to me. Didn’t come back so rang again. Was told that she would find out and get back in touch. Never did. Doesn’t matter now as not interested in what I was originally asking about anymore. Can only speak as you find.
