"I’ve not really thought about things too much yet," Bullard told the East Anglian Daily Times.

"I’ve been away for six or seven weeks and now I’m back in training with Hull.

"At the end of the day I’m still contracted to them and I’d be more than happy to play for them next season.

"If they turn around and say they don’t want me to play for money reasons then we’ll have to see what happens."

Asked about the possibility of a return to Portman Road he added: "I loved every single minute of my time at Ipswich last season and made some wicked friends.

"If there was some way I could sort out a move there I would be a very happy man."

Surely a move is easy? You just take a pay cut and it'll all go smoothly.

Personally i quite like the sound of the first bit. Management swallow their pride and play him. He will soon win round the fans the type of player and person he is on the field. If he performed the way he did at the tractor boys then it would only be to our benefit.

More than happy to play for us?

Sounds like problem solved.

If he is happy to play for us and management say sorry and vise versa i agree it would solve a lot of problems regarding creativity. As i am your casual fan with no set in stone "insider" info i am like the 99.9% of people on this board and dont know the fact of what went on with his contract and behind the scenes but if it can be ironed out then i would be over the moon.

There has always been talk about further addons or bonuses if he plays any more games for us. If they don't exist and we don't get rid of him (I think we will) then there is a good chance he will play next season. The truth is the money we are spending on Bullard could be much better utilised. I know we wouldn't spend all the extra money if we weren't paying Bullard but 4 x £10k/week players would have a much bigger impact than Bullard.

youre all forgetting that he could well get injured badly straight away. yeah he was fine at ipswich but he barely trained and was nowhere near full fitness, i cant see NP allowing that kind of specialist training away from the team.

then you have the fact that his wages could be spent on 4-5 quality players who could make the difference this year, who will be young, in peak physical condition and will sing from NPs hymnsheet.

thats how i view it, a combination of factors which make it far from simple.

Interesting comments. But i will say again. Bullard will only leave if Hull City get his FULL WAGES off the books. The Allams are not daft and nor is NP. Ashbee won NP over until New Years Eve and Bullard can also. Time for the 3 of them to grow up and get this sorted for everyones case not to mention the clubs coffers.

Isnt that when youre more likely to get injured ?

AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh <steam> I told mydelf not to get drawn into these Bullard threads anymore

I think Bullard walked in on a Pearson love session and that's why they loaned him straight out and now want rid before the rumour hits the training ground

I feel we need more Bullard threads to be honest.
I am in the, if he's staying he should be playing camp.
That said, I wish he would just fek off.
