Another Backroom Departure

    These departures are a complete disaster. They mean everything's going wrong. The club is on the brink. Cortese will leave so will Adkins. The stadium will collapse into a heap of rubble. All the players will strike.

    Jeez, and Pompey think they've got it bad... well they haven't got problems on the same scale as us. I mean a backroom departure, Christ, the football league ought to dock us 25 points for this...

    Apparently we got rid of Friis-Hansen because he was more interested in being a pundit on Danish TV than scouting. Backroom staff don't get a lot of publicity and their returns often aren't always particularly tangible either. It's no surprise that they don't always last.

    It's not an unusual turnover of staff in any business really. People don't work out, it's far better to see them go sooner rather than later. Not something to worry about.

    We might have to follow Pompeys example and get the players to sell the tickets at the box office?
