You have the right to free speech
    As long as you're not
Dumb enough to actually try it

Great way to start the weekend
Cheers for that comrade Ernie <party>

I've just re-listened to this whilst watching the little yellow faced dancing blokey.

He's in perfect time to the song.

    It's uncanny.

Did you ever listen to the version Mick Jones wanted to put out? I got it as a bootleg many years ago.

'Rat Patrol from Fort Bragg' it was called...Let's just say I'm not surprised the rest of the band kicked it into touch!!

    I'd forgotten about that.

I've never heard it so I've just been on YouTube.

    I lasted about 2 minutes...

Not as bad as the original version of the brilliant Gates To The West, which was originally called Ooh Baby Ooh...

The Cure's Forest was originally called At Night and though the music is exactly the same, it was nowhere near as good until Robert Smith had a dream about being lost in a forest...

A pedant writes: it’s “A Forest”. The greatest song I’ve ever heard live.

This is a frame from a video I took the other week at 30 metres on the wreck of the Persier. Magnificent in its ugliness this Monkfish has been living on the wreck for years.
