Jeremy Clarkson does farming. The article may be of some interest but the thing that struck me is the picture, it's so wrong and obviously been put together with photoshop but why when there are so many real pictures available? I am sure this is not his work but that of someone employed by the newspaper, is this what they call work these days? Fannying about to make a picture when the real thing is only a click away or he could have gone half an hour up the road and took his own picture. please log in to view this image
Take the point but I think you're being a bit harsh. It's bound to be a library picture, google 'farming pictures', there's ton's of them to choose from.
I wonder if this guy will still be around, it's already been swimming the oceans since 1620, quite amazing.
I really don't know, but I guess they will have some way of telling. When I was on the fish dock, in the morning the boffins from Min of Ag & fish used to come down and check the age of the fish by extracting a bone at the side of the head, and like rings on a tree, they could check the age of the fish. But I guess this way the fish have to be dead.
That reminds me of the brilliant Monty Python sketch. I can't do videos on my phone, so if anyone wants to, go ahead.
