Who had a garden? Right through to 71 lads were still larking on a school bombsite near Shiphams wall; no cars there, not many anywhere around there in the sixties. Great, truely great days- we moved to the road on a night for that lamp posts...

Peter Cook said his biggest regret in life was saving David Frost from drowning. When at university Frost, who had acne at the time, pinched so much of Cooks material that Cook referred to him as the bubonic plagiarist.
