...asked my girlfriend to marry me. She said yes!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Only just seen this thread for the first time so apologies for the tardiness in extending my congrats to you and the missus fella - well done mate, that's AWESOME news!! I'm sure she'll make a good man of you, or at least I hope she gives it a bloody good go!

<cheers>

....and having now read the rest of the thread I now realise I should also extend my congratulations to you as well Supers!

Nice one mate, good luck to you both <cheers> (even though at the moment I'm not entirely sure whether you're on or off my christmas card list for this year ;) )

On this, a lovely Norfolk day
What better time for me to say
Congrats to you both
For plighting your troth
May joy and happiness be your way

Robbie

PS Not sure the title of the thread is really appropriate though. In my experience marriage is not dissimilar to supporting Norwich City, with its highs and lows, hopes and fears, successes and disappointments, all made the more enjoyable or less burdensome for being shared!

All the best to the four of you. <cheers>

Will she let you spend as much time on here then? "Rather talk to your football buddies than me then", you've got it all to come.

<laugh> i've lived with her for over a year and been with her for more than three, so she knows what i'm like. she accepts that she is a 'football widow', though i'm pleased to say that she is a big norwich fan and football fan in general herself and often comes to games with me, though not norwich unfortunately - as i have a season ticket, so the best she gets is cup games! she's coming with me to watch barnet on saturday, poor soul <laugh>

Good for her. I hope you're both very happy together and don't argue about formations with her too much!
<bubbly><bubbly><bubbly>

Lucky sod is the first that's springs to mind!

What happened to us? We used to be so good for each other... Now lose lose lose like the Ipswich....
