You do seem to put your fingers in your ears and go la la la when people mention the fact the good crowds we got were well before any of us had even heard of the Allams.
Even going back to Boothferry Park, when there was a threat of our club folding, the crowds returned. That had nothing to do with Stevie ****ing G, did it.
It was about saying "We can't let this club fold". That for me was what alerted Adam Pearson to the potential this club had and the rest is history.
