At 19 i never watched TV either, and even now i pretty much only watch sport or the odd movie.
Wait till you have have young kids that are driving you mad during the day because it is pouring down outside.
The Disney Channel is a life saver.

On a more serious note, i really don't understand the value of TV to people. Never really got my head around how some people can dedicate sizeable portions of time & money to sitting infront of a shiny rectangular box pleasuring themselves over a rewind button or the fact they have 2000 channels at there disposal. I'm 19 and i barely even know what a SKY box looks like, let alone actually owning one.
I'm certainly not promoting the notion that everyone should give up all electrical posessions and hug trees for a living, i use TV do a degree like everyone else does, just be a bit more creative with your spare time!

But then we cannot be controlled by the government or told to buy more products we don't need whilst listening to egotistical bigots such as Jeremy Clarkson preaching to us. Oh wait.... :)

I'm quite sure that he wasn't being serious, just arguing a pseudo-legal point. Loosely related, does anyone remember when Arsenal covered some building work with a painting of fans so that one end of Highbury didn't look empty. I thought it was a brilliant idea and one that Pompey could adopt<whistle>

Try Subbuteo, Scalextric, a board game and even, dare I say it, a book. Amazing some of he modern phenomena I have my kids interested in. And if that fails, I can always try ... a computer game.
