Murdoch will just start charging for the actual sky or rent one of his son's out in the sex trade,
Probs do even more to be able to keep ploughing money into the prem im afraid just so he gets more back.
The prem is less about football and more about greed tbh.

A man knocked on my door.

He was doing a survey for the BBC.

He asked me how many hours of tv I watched?

I said an hour and a half.

He asked what did I watch?

I said University Challenge and The Antiques Road Show.

    He said is that all?

I said yes can you tell me anything else that I may have missed that would have enriched my life?

    He said no unfortunately not.

Yeah, Godders and second stain are right, but until they send me my walkman back I'll have to sit on my fat arse, that by the way is fat because I spend so much time busting my arse to earn money to pay taxes to keep the country ticking over... just, and watch SKY.

On a serious note though secondstain, I think the BBC quality thing went along time back.

Oh I completely agree, FLT. Thing is, they are still the highest quality we have, in the UK. Which doesn't say a lot for the others, does it.

Murdoch probably will, although being a cold blooded lifeless creature himself, he will notice no difference.

I do you remember one skate appearing once.

He dared to call Paxman "Mate" and got a really cold stare from the great man.

That is probably why there have been no skates on the show ever since.

Fans in televised matches should get paid as they are like extra's who appear in films...

There is very little on sattelite TV of quality. Endless repeats of freinds and programmes such as " when good hamsters go bad" or " City centre police on a wet Tuesday in oldham" or relality shows of dubious pedigree which fill their programmes. I wont pay for SKY or any of the subscription channels. If there is nothing on the terrestrial channels worth watching, I go and do something else instead. Once I even talked to my wife, well i think it was my wife, she was in bed when i woke up that morning.

Skates dont get onto University Challenge, they mainly appear on Jeremy Kyle.
Had Sky for 20 years now,and wouldnt give up my Sky+ HD box for anyone.

On a more serious note, i really don't understand the value of TV to people. Never really got my head around how some people can dedicate sizeable portions of time & money to sitting infront of a shiny rectangular box pleasuring themselves over a rewind button or the fact they have 2000 channels at there disposal. I'm 19 and i barely even know what a SKY box looks like, let alone actually owning one.
I'm certainly not promoting the notion that everyone should give up all electrical posessions and hug trees for a living, i use TV do a degree like everyone else does, just be a bit more creative with your spare time!
