Which only goes to show they were a couple of deluded fools with piss poor judgement, that continued throughout their lives.

Yes, and it just shows how stupid it is quoting the views of newspaper proprietors back in the 1930s as having any relevance today.
Moseley started out as a leftie but learned some sense when he grew up as most do (remember what Clemenceau said) but some, as we see here don't.

Yes. You have confirmed you are a clueless idiot.
If you are so besotted with making excuses for, and idealising, a one time fascist fool that you need to deliberately misquote history to prove your misguided points then I will happily remain a clueless idiot.

Who is misquoting history? Care to tell me where I have misquoted history?

I take it you've never been Turkey?

Ever been Iran? Let us know how you get on with your search for a pint or a bacon sandwich. Or your lass enjoying herself in a crop top and a pair of shorts whilst she watches a football match or basketball one.

Turkey is not an example of a country run on Islamic lines.

BTW , I wasn't making excuses for or idealising anybody. I was quoting what liberals and lefties said about him to show how ridiculous it was to bring in what newspaper owners in the 1930s thought as though it had any relevance to today.
Obviously this is a bit difficult for you to grasp being so clueless. I would call you a half wit but for you being a half wit is an aspiration.

I think it's just human nature for people to mingle with others who look and behave like them. Other mammals do it. I would say that multiculturalism is somewhat of a failure in certain countries though, especially when different cultures have beliefs and ethical values that are markedly different from one another.

Multiracialism? Completely fine. Multiculturalism? Not so much.

Examples of multiculturism in Saudi Arabia?
Is that the only Muslim country you've heard of? Saudi Arabia embraces European and American people, capital and lifestyles more than most. The cornerstone of their economy was jointly developed with USA.

Alcohol and publicly practicing any religion other than Islam are banned in Saudi Arabia and non-Muslims are not allowed to eat or drink in public during Ramadan. Stop conflating multiracialism with multiculturalism.

Saudi Arabia embraces nothing 'western' except America's petrodollars. Easily the most repugnant nation the world has seen since 1945.

Anybody who thinks this article means anything should watch Jonny Bairstow and Adil Rashid celebrating winning the final ODI today. A wonderful example of 'who gives a **** what colour/religion/whatever you are we've just done something fantastic together'.
The article is a pile of crap, written by a ****-stirring journo and published in one of the crappest newspapers this generation has known.

It's you (and Castro) who are conflating things - conflating culture with religion. Is England's culture defined by the Church of England? Of course it isn't.

I've lived in Saudi Arabia. It's ****ing horrible. But to say it is a country that doesn't embrace other cultures is nonsense.

Take away the Church of England and England still has a rich culture of liberalism and Enlightenment principles.

Take away Islam from Saudi Arabia and there is **** all there. Well, maybe sand and oil. On the other hand, take away Islam from Iran and you still have a rich Persian culture that predates Islam by a long way.

What cultural practices does Saudi Arabia embrace that are not inspired by Wahhabism?
