3 years would mean it expires at the end of the coming season. Four at an absolute minimum - hopefully it's that and not six.
Man United fans I know rate Amos as a good keeper. Confident we won't have another Gulasci on our hands!
http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/vito-mannone-signs-a-new-long-term-contract Although it doesn't say how long I would assume at least 5 years.
I was at a wedding yesterday and was speaking to someone who works at city. She told.me.that amos came to the kc on Friday but she hasn't seen his signed contract. She said he only stayed a short while. Does anyone know if he did actually sign?
Football Manager 2012 has Mannone's contract as expiring 30.6.2014. People who have never been anywhere near it will be skeptical but it's unbelievably accurate in 99% of cases. Van Persie's "long term contract" was 4 years too, I know this is a very weak way of comparison but it's something.
Well I doubt there would be that pic of him smiling with our goalkeeping top if he hasn't. Mclean has also said on twitter Amos is getting to Portugal separately and meeting them there.
true until summer 2014 and he's "valued" on this site as £650 - 750k http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/vito-mannone/profil/spieler_33781.html
Amos is a good keeper, some lads on the Manchester United Forum said that he looks to have a great future ahead of him. As for Vito, I would much rather have signed him for £1million and have him on for 3/4 years and know there's a consistent, loyal and talented keeper behind our defence instead of constantly switching keepers.
