I know it's only one match, but on today's performance surely they might be rethinking? None of the other relegation candidates covered themselves in glory either.

Not yet for me, can't base on just 1 game or they'd haveto rethink things like Bournemouth staying up.

We need to pickup more points before dreadful December rolls around, but a great start.

You'd think they'd have learned something from last season.

I saw loads of people tweeting on Saturday night about Sunderland and Norwich being nailed on for relegation, after one game ffs.

Yeah, this attitude sucks, could easily work as a wake up call for them.

Norwich didn't even play that badly and Sunderland can't play like they did against us again or Dick wont last the season. Then again its standard procedure for Sunderland atm to sack their manager in the new year.

Got to remember we didn't manage to score a goal against Sunderland last season! If we keep bettering last season's results then we're set. On yesterday's MOTD there were plenty who didn't exactly wow me, although Norwich and Bournemouth looked a little like us for much of last season- plenty of nice play and always looked in the game but just lacking that little bit of quality and precision, something we have now at least. We're going to have plenty of rough patches this season but as long as the players' mentality holds I think we're in a really good position. Incidentally, with all this talk about Ranieri being apparently a failure as a manager, why hasn't there been nearly as much about McClaren?

Norwich have already tied our worst result of the whole of last season. Just saying'.

I havn't decided who will have the worst single result this season or the worst average. Think Sunderland could go close to both if they continue like Saturday.

At the risk of sounding like a moaning, partisan supporter, while City were not 100% at the races, the ref had a far bigger impact on our game than most of the Palace team. It was a truly shocking performance which possibly/probably denied City at least a share of the points on Saturday.

It would still be a long hard season ahead even had we won that game, but to lose in the fashion we did is hard to swallow on the opening day.
