Alonso would love to come back to Liverpool. His son supports our team, and in his in-depth interview he hinted he'd like to finish his career here. I can see this happening myself and I think it's a win win situation. More options, **** loads of experience on the training field and the dressing room, and a player that loves Liverpool. Plus he's such a professional he's got fair few miles left in the tank.....It's a no brainer for me. I'd love him to come back home - and I think he probably will (at some point)
Well Madrid signed the young guy from Sociadad for lots of money in the summer and he is being lined up for Alonso's replacement so maybe they're giving him 1 season to learn from Alonso, bed him into the team before letting Alonso leave in the summer
If Alonso was in our team vs Swansea and Man Utd (Cream Egg Cup) I reckon we would have won both. Not sure about Southampton as we were just dire in that one.

I've referred to it as that for a while but no idea why its so common. Maybe because the League Cup is always referred to by its sponsor and its worth as much as a egg cup?
If I don't say Cream Egg Cup, then I usually just say League Cup too Usually depends whether we win or lose
