Stanley Mathews, Greenoff, Fuller, Stein, Banks are the ones who stand out to me.
Add Alan Hudson and Terry Conroy to that list, both would stroll it. I've not seen a (better) footballer since Hudson who could not only pass he could create, beat player's before they got close to him and score goals. IMHO the best Stoke City all round player ever, after Matthews who I did'nt see that much of in truth.Stanley Mathews, Greenoff, Fuller, Stein, Banks are the ones who stand out to me.
Peter Hoekstra
Hoekstra, instead of Sir Stan or Conroy ???
That's a brave call, close but no cigar. In my opinion of course.
Or Smith and Bloor rather than Ryan and Huth.
This by the way is the best pub game in the world as long as everybody respects each others opinion.
After a couple of pints - fat chance.
Oh c'mon JM - you know the answer to that.
An absolute no brainer with all of that array of attacking talent.
