Begs the question what happened ? My only Saints game at Newcastle was a loss in 2002. Crouch scored.

It was last season when I went to Boro, thanks to FLT. I was expecting a promotion party and we ****ed it up despite scoring inside a minute.<steam>

I've taken the Friday and Monday off work. Mega Bus up there on Friday cost me £8, train back on Monday cost £18. Hostel in central Newcastle for 3 nights, £45. I've heard the drinks and girls are pretty cheap too...

My daughter wants to go to the Newcastle match as her birthday present, and who am I to refuse? So now I've got two match tickets, train tickets (there's a direct train from Southampton to Newcastle, so no need to go in/out of London), and a family room in a hotel. All we need now is a victory.

I booked a non-refundable train ticket on the direct train before the game got rearranged so I'm leaving at 6:53am on the Saturday... Nice. :|

Right booked my train tickets for next Sunday. Going to be an early start, 06:58 to be precise but looking forward to it already. I'll keep an eye out for you FLT! :D

Just looked at other fixtures on the weekend we play Newcastle. Aston Villa and QPR play Arsenal and ManU, respectively....should be okay, though you can't rely on anyone, but the interesting one is Wigan v Reading. Taking all things into consideration, it might be best if we won:rolleyes:

Enjoy the view Ladies & Gents. gutted i can't make this game, the people i normally do aways with are staying in the carlisle & 1 other is staying in a dormertry in newcastle!

Don't forget your specs & bins!

Yeah but travel costs are a problem for many Saints fans. I can't afford the train fare and I can't get the coach because I'm not near Southampton.

You can jump in with me again if you can get to Northampton for 8-8:30am on Sunday. You'll be back at Northampton for about 7:30pm

It's alright I have decided I now can afford the train fare, and it would be quicker to get the train as well. Plus I wouldn't have been able to get to Northampton that early anyway. Thanks for the offer though and may see you up there.
