Hi guys,

Does anyone know our allocation for Newcastle away? I can't find it anywhere on the site. I can't see a trip all the way to Newcastle on a Sunday afternoon being a sell out, but keen to find out as I am the only one of my friends who currently is eligible to buy a ticket at the moment.

Bring on the 7 hour Mega Bus....

yes im toying with the idea of going to this as commute from North London. If you book the train now its still well over £100 though. Ouch!

How much is mega bus?!

I think its about 2,000 away capacity but not sure, cant find a reference on the web?

Interesting - I thought it would be a quick sell-out, so I`ve bought tickets in the home seats, under the where the away fans are. I`ll try for Saints tickets, then flog the ones I`ve got.

Well that was a tad silly considering most Saints fans are located down south!

Bah ! Mind you, Newcastle is darn sarf for me. Given the optimism around the club, I would hope we do sell out. Our travelling fans will be gagging for it after a weekend off.

Yeah but travel costs are a problem for many Saints fans. I can't afford the train fare and I can't get the coach because I'm not near Southampton.

It is expensive - I`m taking the train down (mainly because of a speeding conviction in Bitterne the morning after the Coventry game last season !), and its £100. My son lives in South Shields just now, so fun weekend !

Well I'm looking at train fares and I can get a return for £83 (I get 1/3 off as I have a railcard). That's not too bad but a very long journey back if we lose!

Toying over doing the 5 and a half hour drive, if 3 of my mates come and give me £30 each for diesel it will work out at under £60 each which aint too shabby!

Good thing is that the tickets for the match are reasonably priced and I've recently got money from my student loan so my bank balance is nice and hefty. For now anyway...
