Alli Bye Bye?

The common cold kills people all over the world, is highly infectious, and there is no cure for it.

Why don’t we declare a pandemic for the common cold?

Answer: It is dangerous only to the most vulnerable, deaths worldwide are manageable, and the cost of imposing restrictions to try to control something that cannot be stopped would be disproportionate.

Sound familiar?

In a world of seven billion people, only a million are alleged to have died. That’s 0.014% of the world’s population. Vastly more people die during a flu pandemic, of which there have been many in recent decades, the last one being in 2018.

The reaction of our Government to this current pandemic is wholly disproportionate.
More people don’t die from flu annually than have died so far from Coronavirus. This is complete bullshit.

Wrong thread btw. This thread is about Delle Alli, so enough, thank you.

That’s 1m with the restrictions in place, lockdowns etc. So how many without?

Alli looked like he was going to be a great player, then he went to Tottenham. He arrived as a teenager, already looking good enough to play for a bigger club and will leave as a man in his young 20's who has seemingly got progressively worse in the last few years.

When considered with the rest of the team from the 2015 season where you had a bunch of young players finishing 3rd - Dier, Rose, Trippier, Wimmer, Davies, Bentaleb, Mason, Carroll, Winks you've got to say they've mostly got worse. Son and Kane are pretty darn good though and Eriksen has held up. Many of those should be in their prime about now.

Progressively worse.

That’s one of those paradox things innit?

Do you mean oxymoron?

Progress doesn't necessarily mean getting better it just means things are developing in stages. That cohort of players who should have been building on a 3rd place have mostly got worse and are midway to becoming shelf-stackers.

Alli strikes me as being a player who fell for his own hype and thinks he’s a G now. More interested in his boyz and his lifestyle than working at his game. It’s a well worn path.

He’s still young enough to turn it around, but I’m not sure that’ll be at Spurs or in London.

I always associate progress with moving forward and that is a positive, and to regress is to move backwards.

So can you say regressively better?

Also who you callin a moron you ****... I’ll **** you up.

Swap deal for Ozil
Everyones a winner
And Bale will have some company in the treatment room

I would not like that, even if it means getting Ozil out, as Alli seems to have lost his way, which from an England POV is a shame.
Must be all that Spursyness coaching

All jokes aside lads and I know it's only 3 games but no one including man city look like they can get near us this season.

Could be more than 18pts this time.
