Having read the whole tirade on this thread, my conclusion is thus:

We've moved from "my gift to the people of Hull" to "I want my money back"

Communism to captialism in under 3 years.. and throw in some very clear totalitarian statements from the Dear Leader..

No but I think one or two are a bit drunk on power and see themselves as little generals. It's gone beyond the initial debate, its more to do with not losing face now.

It's more a case of disparaging the demise of this forum than people who want to resist.

Anyone from another site would regard this place as a laughing-stock because virtually every thread is an extension of the same argument.

I want to keep the debate going, but it should be happening in one place rather than inundating the board and spilling into every other thread.
It is because OLM and his brownshirts are trying to brow-beat everyone into submission and the CTWD Moderators are all part of it.

The only thing they haven't realised is those tactics just harden people's opinions against them.

It'd be a start, if people didn't just post on every thread that they're not interested or there's too many.

One thick sod bumped up loads of threads just to try and prove a point.

So what's the plan then? Are you and the other mods going to put one or two sticky's up and encourage people to use them / merge threads into them, or do you like the scruffy look we currently have?

The easiest way would be to deal with the two or three posters that turn so many threads on the name change back to the same dull place, so others feel they have to start a new thread to avoid the dross.

They tend to be people moaning about mod bias and the lack of mod action. As I said, I reckon I'm far more bored of all this than you.

That's not what I'm saying in anyway shape or form. I'm basically saying that you're effectively complaining about yourself.

Great, why don't you just show some self control and take some responsibility of your own and not whinge about the number of threads on every thread?
