I'd have taken it long before it got to 72K. I like a little bet. I find pitting your wits against the odds setters very interesting and any return is nice.

As long as you don't go into it in the belief that it's a way to make money you'll be alright. It's just a bit of fun and you should never chase your losses. <ok>
 
Hey!!! - my bloody cashout figure has just gone down from £9.50 overnight to £8.04 this morning without a ball being kicked! <steam>

What do they know that we don't? Has Slade told them Zahore will be on the bench?............<laugh>
 
Well the Wednesday fans are all pretty confident of getting at least a point next Saturday. I really haven't got a clue how Slade is going to set the team for the game, my own preference would be to start with Zahore up top as he does look strong in the box, but looks like he cant last the full 90mins. To put it in a nutshell we really dont have anything to lose. First away game of the season and we are looking forward to it, should be a large contingent going i would have thought. Win and we may get a proper full house against Brum.
 
Zohore came off with a calf injury. Might have been a simple cramp or worse a pull.

Ralls had a knock in the first half (knee I think) so i wasn't surprised he didn't come out second half.

Win and we may get a proper full house against Brum.

Now that would be a novelty Isaw!!!!
 
In fairness to Zohore it's hardly surprising he can't play 90 minutes when he's not been given more than 10 until last Saturday.

I found his first start an unbelievably frustrating experience. He looked a really good player, good with his back to goal, vision to bring players into the game and always a threat. Surprisingly quick over the ground for a big lump too. Sooooooooo............. WHY HASN'T HE BEEN IN THE ****ING TEAM?! :headbang::headbang:

We're going to come up short this season, we didn't need to. I hope Slade has learnt his lesson, if he hasn't I'll join the the majority in wanting a change.

How are you doing Breezey? It's been a quiet old season on here with little Jacks/Bluebirds rivalry. Both have their own issues to focus on I suppose.

Interesting times down west with the possibility of an American buy out. I wonder what effect that will have on the ethos of the club - which has been its strength for the last 10 years?

If nothing else there should be a much bigger ground to house the Swans' pent up support.

Given up squash Breezey. Had dodgy knees for years and squash made them worse. It came to a head when playing a female 13 year old Welsh international in a club match about 18 months ago. She murdered me for 2 games but I managed to nick it 3 -2 after about 75 minutes on court. I couldn't move for a week afterwards so decided enough was enough.

Conversely, I have taken up running, joined a running club and now run about 30k minimum per week - albeit slowly. Running in more or less straight lines causes much fewer issues for my knees. Keeps me a lot fitter too.

Stating the obvious, this Saturday at Sheffield is make or break for us. Win and the pressure will be on Wednesday away at Wolves next week, leaving us with the little matter of beating Birmingham.
