That is terrific news, Mick! Really should find you a winner, but that is certainly not a good idea. Of course, the best advice in this respect is stick with Stick! <ok>

......and FloridasPearl too!

Indeed, although after yesterday mornings good news I've been banging a few winners in myself.
If Sharp Operator obliges in the 4.20 I'll be a happy chappy...although I'm rather happy without the winners!!!

Cheers fella!

As usual, way too late to the party... <bubbly>

Congratulations on the great news, Mick. As everyone has said the best news of the year so far and will take a lot of beating – only something personal to any of us could match it. :emoticon-0178-rock:

Leaving the hospital on two feet rather than in a box is always to be welcomed – sure you won’t miss the Fanta and the Lucozade? :emoticon-0167-beer:

Now you can nip down the bookies and pile of Lizzy Yarnold to win SPOTY and know that you will be around to see her collect as Harry Kane can only beat her if he bangs in a hat-trick to win the World Cup – and there is more chance of me winning the Euromillions on Friday than that happening! <laugh>

Yep two feet good, one box bad!

Might heed your advice there and back Lizzie for SPOTY!

Cheers!

Only just seen this. Brilliant news and I am delighted for you and yours. Like others I have been amazed by your positivity - and also echo oddy's view about this forum.

Have a great weekend everyone.

What a truly wonderful forum this is. Apart from the odd gripe about aftertiming and bolshie comments about who is better than who we all come together as one when the chips are down. Absolutely brilliant news Mick and with Cheltenham just around the corner to aid your recovery too. Health is the most precious gift of all. Congratulations

I've just had a visit from the ENT consultant/surgeon, Dr Loh in regard to Fridays biopsy.
It seems the radiotherapy DID work after all. and what they thought was the tumour through the endoscope was in fact scar tissue, partially hidden with swelling, caused by the radiotherapy.
He also debulked my windpipe and I managed to use a blocked off trachy yesterday and all seems back to normal with that. So, with a bit of luck, trachy comes out tomorrow and I'll be home 48 hours later cancer free!!!
Talk about from one extreme to the other!!!
I can't thank all you guys enough for your support the last week or so. Who knows? Your positive vibes might have been heard and prayers answered by the big fella!!!
I feel like I just won the race in the stewards room!!!
HeyMick
- just goes to show that good things do happen to good people!! I'm made up for you and your brilliant family - I know you'll grab this chance and make the very best of things - well done mate you've been an example to us all .... fear nought - be brave - for all will be well - I'm having a beer later with my lad - I'll be raising a glass to you xx

Ekky, Cheers fella, discharged tomorrow lunchtime. Will be in the local with the Mrs and the trusty hound by 2.00pm, and will raise my glass to you and the rest of the forumites for all the well wishes and inspiration.
Showed the Mrs and my sister this site yesterday and all the nice words and posts. they were visibly moved.
Once again, thank you all.

I have to admit Mick, that brought a tear or two.
