Back home now after a hectic day at the office and I wanted to offer my sincere congratulations once again Mick. I am currently drinking a beer to your very good health. I have done a lot of reflecting over the last few days, also about this forum. Whilst I sometimes despair at the petty gripes, oneupmanship and posturing on here I have been truly touched by the messages of support to you across the board. For me, every one of those messages is worth a thousand times more than anything related to a winner on this forum and I am proud of the collective human spirit the posters have displayed. Very humbling.
I couldn't have put it better myself Oddy. I've been looking for the right words to thank everyone for their magnificent support. You've said it all and I need add nor take away a single word. Thank you all...absolutely buzzing here, and after a couple of disasterous weeks on the horses, had a very good day today. How things change!
Just got in and what a great piece of news to come into. Took ages to read through and "like" all the warm comments, nicely summed up by Oddy. Really pleased for you Mick, and for your family
Best news i've heard this year Mick, ****ing brilliant!!! Chuffed for you and family and best wishes going forward!
Hopefully I'll be going forward.....very fast in a cab to my abode in time for the racing on ITV on Saturday. The Mrs is stocking the fridge with assorted goodies as we speak! Celebrated the good news with a bottle of orange barley Lucozade earlier...nectar! Cheers lads!
Well done mate!! Fantastic news! How you stayed so positive well massive respect to you. Would have been easy to go in to a shell but you didn’t let it beat you and it shows well done mate
Thanks once again lads and lasses for all the support and well wishes. Lying on the hospital bed with Fanta in hand truly buzzing!!! Cheers guys!!!
Edoscopy done and passed with flying colours. Swallow test done with soup and ice cream. Passed with flying colours....yummy!!
