We have the Indonesian equivalent of Alexa - they are called servants. They can cook, clean and wash my clothes as well as switch the lights on and off. They are also more environmentally friendly as they don't run on electricity.

About 100pounds a month plus food, accommodation and clothing etc for the basic model but I suspect you may be looking for top of the range for your purposes.
They do have some downsides compared to an Alexa:
1) they definitely record everything you say and do to use against you when necessary
2) they keep any cash you leave in your pockets of dirty clothes
3) they will spit in your food if you ask them to cook your pork-based fry-ups
3) they expect a month off at Eid plus trainfare to go visit their family
I will ask ours when I get home if they have any sisters who would like to work in Sunderland when I get home.

$100 a month isn't bad. I can go without pork at home and never carry cash.

I have asked her Comm.

She has taken a look at pictures of Sunderland on the internet. She says she left her village and came to Jakarta to escape the depressing poverty. Why would she want to go back to that life by moving to Sunderland.
