Some players are just injury prone, we have had players like that in the past, we seem to have quite a few of them at the moment, beyond very specific and tailored strength and conditioning regimens there isn't a lot you can do.
I'm not too sure about that mate. Players can have a bad run of injuries, some merely impacts, and be given that tag ... ... then have years without anything serious but the idea carries on. I've seen players written off as 'injury prone' when suffering two or three totally different injuries.
Thankfully we have the luxury of not having to throw him and Ballard straight back in this time, hopefully that’ll be a benefit to them both
I have never understood injury proneness to mean a specific injury to a specific body part or muscle group over and over again, but the simple fact a specific player is more often injured than the average, this can be for a myriad of reasons, being overtrained (muscle failure), being undertrained (cardio), have underlying conditions (osgoode-shlatter), have uneven muscle groups and probably a thousand more, sometimes it's a minor genetic issue that is unique and undiagnosed.
Yeah, I think some people are unfortunately just more genetically pre-disposed to injuries than others. I eat well and exercise regularly, but have issues with my back, right forearm, and left elbow. No real reason for any of them, they just sort of... happened. Thankfully I've never been good at any sports so it hasn't had much of an impact on me
Ill see your injury list and raise you a Rodwell Jack the hack was a sentence from the gods IN THE BAD OLD DAYS
Hopefully on the bench at Millwall. We’re desperate for players back now with more injuries and suspensions kicking in
He seems to really look after himself and has a lot of self belief so I reckon there’s a good chance he’ll get back to fitness. Such a shame we’ve seen so little of him and Huggins. Premier league ability but desperately unlucky with injuries.
