has that Farah woman left? the one Sven was toying with?

if she hasnt, then Pardew will jump at the chance to manage England.

Alan Curbishley. Perfect for you lot. Speaks Cockerney, and used to running small clubs on a budget, who sell all their best players. Ideal.

All true (except him being suitable for us) and yet he is STILL a better manager than Queen Kenny. Surprised you showed your face here, you have nothing to shout about this week. To tell you the truth, when the Americans get their heads out of their arses and sack The Grand Wizard, they should give Curbishley a call. Apparently he does mid table-mediocrity very well.

We're so good. Best team in London, Champions league, better than Arsenal. You don't know how ****in stupid you lot sound. 3 weeks ago it was 3rd and Mourinho. Now you're looking at 5th and Pardew. Classic.

We are back in contention for Europe...

Hodgson's gone.We can kick on now...

Torres has gone we can kick on now...

We have bought fantastically well and have King Kenny back. This could be our year...

Suarez never said anything racist; Anyway it's different because he's from South America...

The League Cup proves we are making progress (like Birmingham who at least beat a team from the prem and didn't need penalties to do it.)

0-0 with Spurs at home, get out the open top bus..

    Adidas is soooo last year...

Gerrard's fit. He'll transform our season...

We ARE top in the all time points league...

    WE sound stupid? <doh>

Anyway, I'm off. Drop by again, maybe when you lose to Newcastle and Everton go above you...

Capello might have a good record over the years, but i'd be mortified if he was the replacement. the football we had to endure as England fans under his reign, was painful. If i had to witness that again as a spurs fan, it'd be soul destroying. thank god he's 65 and he'd be "too expensive". (how, i don't know.)

ancelotti all day for me, if given the choice out of those two.

Capello gets teams playing **** football, totally failed at motivating the England players and clearly only rates Walker out of all our English players. I'd rather we got Fat Sam! <yikes>

I haven't seen him wearing his cool Britney Spears style headset for awhile but he's still better than Capello :D

I still think David Moyes would be well suited at Spurs

What's more notable is the fact Nolan and Barton were to Newcastle's dressing room what Terry and Lampard are to Chelsea's, especially when it came to throwing their weight around. Once they'd done their part in keeping them up last season, Pardew was quick to get Nolan out the door, and when Barton started kicking off he was soon gone as well. Somebody taking such a firm line in the England dressing room would've worked wonders in South Africa a couple of summers back.

Oh, and is gaf71 back on our board, despite the Mersey Sewage Outlet's recent run of results against relegation-threatened teams? My promise to vote for whoever bans the sorry son of a bitch when they become mod stands...

  16. This is another reason why I don't think Pardew would be such a bad call. He's clearly a disciplinarian, but still seems to be able to get the players to work hard for him. Two essential qualities in any manager that has aspirations of doing great things in the game.

  19. Gaf by name, gaffe by nature.

The man is a natural clown, and always amusing.

I vote we keep him as one of our pet jesters.
