Thoughts are with the family of former Glentoran manager Alan McDonald who passed away this morning.
 
What a great man he was. And a giant of a man, and a giant of a Rangers player.
As much a legend as any of the Rs players over the years. Shocked to hear of his death today.
Condolences to his family. RIP Alan.
 
Im absolutly ****ing devastated, the man was a true Q.P.R legend.

I've just heard the very sad news that Alan McDonald has passed away at the age of 48.
I watched Alan many, many tines play for the R's, top, top centre half.

RIP Alan, my thoughts and I'm sure all connected with the club are with his family.
 
This is very sad news since MH has taken over I have recalled many great memories of the battles between these two, I am sure MH will say remember him fondly as well.
 
R.I.P Macca, will always remember you smashing sparky everytime he came to HQ, Legend! Captain of the early 90's Top London club
