Luck. Yes, perhaps tomorrow Southampton Common will look suspiciously devoid of four leafed clovers and a stream of bunnies might report into A&E with missing paws, but nevertheless, the goal we scored was a fantastic team effort and Kelvin pulled off possibly the best save you'll see in the Championship this season.
I think it's insulting to say you played bad, the correct way to say it is we didn't allow you to play well. You have to give credit where credit is due.
You are correct. But then again, it's absolutely legion the amount of times other teams have miraculously had bad days, over the decades, when we've beaten them. Why should anyone else have public acclaim..? You know privately that you stopped us. But the again, you have to accept that, although we were unable to play our natural game, due to the pressure you put upon us, we still took the 3 points.
In a way. Leeds played very well and fully deserved a win but we were poor, especially in attack where we kept giving the ball away needlessly. That's not to say I'm not giving Leeds credit - it is by far the best performance anyone has put in against us this season.
How many games have we battered teams just to have them block and save everything?? about time we got some back, to do it against a Warnock side was good; Kelvin was amazing, now maybe that big mouthed pair in the northam will get off his back.
Of course you were excellent and stopped us playing our normal game. I only hope for you guys that it wasn't the new manager effect and that you keep that up going forward.
