Most of us who understand the game never thought Slutsky* was the problem. And knew Adkins definitely isn't the answer.

*assuming Slutsky wasn't responsible for incoming players. Our recruitment was really really poor and every player we brought in is ****ing ****e. That's the reason we are where we are.

My friend Bob listen, Hull have a good attack players: Gros (Poland national team), Meyler (Ireland cap), Henriksen (Norway), Larsson (Sweden), and other players such as younger star Bowen. You think why Larsson played fantastic 2 matches with Italy and play really poor in Hull? Maybe he don't wanna play in championship? Now Hull need a defense players 2 centr back, 2 left back, 2 right back. 3 Chelsea players go home. In attack, Hull have a good championship level players, need Abel of cause. The main Adkins mistake is that he destroyed attacking links and try to concentrate on defense line.

Gros is only good occasionally, we will see how highly he's rated by others if he is still here come the end of the window, Melyer is liked because he spends 90 mins chasing balls his given away. We was in the championship when Larsson signed so im not sure why now he doesnt want to play in the championship. Adkins should have gone 2 upfront when we were chasing the game yesterday rather than changing Dickho for Campbell

Slutsky was the manager when these poor players were brought in so he takes responsibility for that , whether it was out of his hands or he had any say . Any manager working in those circumstances take that risk and should walk if not happy with what happens , but I have to admit I thought on paper we had a better squad than our league position shows and another manager would prove that, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Kinnel mate, better keep this quiet.

Laughing boy's always on the lookout for some cheap, mute piece of cloth who he can control like a ****ing glove puppet.

Next thing we know, we've got Sooty in charge of us.

Squad isn't good enough despite some on here proclaiming it is/was. Doooomed I tell ye. We're dooomed....

I wonder if Adkins will be here at the end of the season. Knowing laughing boy that'll be a definite no. Cue the "we must all pull together ****e".

I have to admit that I initially thought the squad was good enough to keep us clear of relegation, but that changed. Staying with Slutsky was negative, we wasted time and resources to injury, early points never materialised. As the season progressed I was losing faith and, as normally happens, started to see others create their own hope.

It's a squad that will look great on paper when you look at transfer fees and previous clubs but that all means nothing when they aren't prepared to put a foot in. It needs proper committed players who will stand up and be counted. Of our summer signings, it's the ones which were less high-profile that have turned out better, namely Larsson and Campbell. Those two know how to win matches and will do what needs to be done to make it happen. People like Hector and Stewart have done nothing in the game but play like they think they're above this level. No big transfer fee or number of youth appearances at a big club can cover for that. That's why people overestimated our squad.

Nobody over estimated it. It's just we should be far higher in the league than we are. How is millwalls budget or Preston or many others. All doing better than us.

So this was down to the players and not coaching/management?

Generally I think that question is a red herring. It's always down to the players and it's always the manager's job to get them playing. If a team underperforms then clearly both have failed, but the manager has the ultimate responsibility for it of course.

In our case it's a bit of both, but the recruitment part was the biggest problem. The budget is one thing but the type of players we've got has been completely wrong.

I agree with this in general terms, but Slutsky (just like Phelan) was the wrong man at the wrong time - he said he could do the job, he couldn't.

'Hull City owner 'excellent' as Nigel Adkins targets early January window transfers' - HDM Headline

**** off Nige - it might be a good tactic to get them to cough up but it's still sticks in the throat and doesn't endear you with the fans
